Valintean Pennick-Feaster, M.S., CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Valintean received a Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences at the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2008. She is licensed in the State of Texas and New York. Valintean also possesses a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has extensive experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist and a supervisor in private practice, home health care, and in school settings. Valintean is passionate about working with both children and adults. Her special areas of interest include early intervention, tongue thrust, articulation, accent reduction, autism, and language. When Valintean is not providing speech therapy she is very busy being a wife and mother to two amazing boys.


Dr.Mia Breaux, ClinScD., CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Mia is a passionate speech language pathologist that graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2010 with a Bachelors in Speech -Language Pathology.
Mia then graduated from Southern University
of Baton Rouge in 2013 with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology.
Mia received her Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain Univerity of Health Professionals in 2022.
Mia has experience working with adults and children in various settings such as schools, homes, and other private settings.
She also has experience working with patients with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Aphasia, Apraxia, Swallowing disorders, Voice disorders and Fluency disorders. Mia has a certification in Melodic-Based Communication Therapy, which is geared to help increase verbal output in nonverbal children with autism.
Mia is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She relocated to Houston, Texas soon after completion of graduate school. Mia has a husband and two young sons.

Jodie Chan, M.S., CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Jodie received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. She is licensed by the State of Texas and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. After graduating, she worked in a program for children with Autism in public schools before transitioning to work in a private practice. Jodie has 11 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist and loves to have fun while making progress with her clients. She has a special interest in autism, articulation, and language. Jodie is currently working on becoming DIR Floortime certified. She looks forward to working with you and your family and growing together!
Jodie is a native Houstonion. She moved to the Sugar Land/Missouri City area after getting married. Jodie has a 6-year-old daughter, husband, and pet dog. She enjoys practicing yoga, juicing, and holistic health.

Chelbi Foote
Medical Biller
Chelbi has 5 years of working in Speech, Occupational, and Applied Behavior Analysis therapy billing and medical office management. She has worked in both a provider’s office and for medical billing services. She has 13 years of working with children as before moving over to medical billing she was a Kindergartner teacher for a private academy where she also worked with children with disabilities. She enjoys being able to help patients and their parents through their therapy journey. Chelbi is originally from the Central Texas area and relocated to the Houston area in 2013. She has a 13-year-old daughter and several fur babies that keep her busy at home. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.

I am an entry level practitioner, I attended the OTA program at Lonestar College Tomball. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and shows, hanging out with my family, boyfriend and friends, playing with my niece, shopping, playing board games/switch games, and doing puzzles when there’s time. I chose this field because I really enjoy working with kids as they don’t take themselves too seriously and they make everything so much fun! When a child improves in their skills, it gives me satisfaction knowing I was able to help them along their journey.

Cloa has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2017, bringing a passion for helping children and their families communicate more effectively across multiple environments. She holds an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree from Baylor University.
Cloa chose the field of speech-language pathology to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, helping them to communicate with others, as well as eat and drink more safely and efficiently. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for her patients, fostering both personal and social growth through improved speech, language, and feeding skills.
Outside of her professional life, Cloa enjoys reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and two children. She cherishes these moments of connection and balance in her busy life.

As both a therapist and the parent of two children with special needs (OR abilities), Viviana possesses a unique and profound understanding of the challenges families face. Fluent in English and Spanish, Viviana leverages her bilingual skills to deliver therapy in both languages. Natasha Rivera Front Office Assistant
Natasha, born and raised in Puerto Rico, moved to Houston nine years ago and has since made it her home. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2016 and has been working as an office assistant for the past four years, gaining valuable experience in administrative support. She particularly enjoys her role in a speech clinic, where she interacts with patients and contributes to a positive and supportive environment. Outside of work, Natasha loves spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, enjoying nature, or traveling to new destinations. Anna Sturgeon, M.S., BCBA, LBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Anna received her degree from Texas A&M University in Psychology ('08) followed by a master's degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas ('14). In 2014 Anna and her husband moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she took courses in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nicholl's State University. In 2016 she passed the necessary exams to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst. She and her husband and two children moved back to Texas in 2019 where she has continued to serve the community in various behavior analytic capacities. She has worked in clinical and educational settings with children ranging from 18 months to 12 years of age and various developmental needs. Anna's biggest passion is compassionate care for not only her clients but the family as a whole. She believes in providing high-quality, play-based therapy with a focus on age-appropriate goals and individualized treatment. Anna is thrilled to bring ABA services to the HCSpeech and Growing Speech family where collaboration and client progress is always the #1 goal!

Meet Jennifer Rabassa, our dedicated office manager who brings over 18 years of experience in medical billing, customer service, and office management to our team.
A native Houstonian, Jennifer previously worked as an office manager and administrative assistant at a therapy clinic in Louisiana where she managed multiple offices. She then joined our clinic as the office manager and biller before taking a brief hiatus to focus on her family and serving her church. We are thrilled to have her back on our team!
Jennifer is not only passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients but also deeply involved in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and husband. She has a special place in her heart for our little patients and finds joy in helping them thrive.

Emily is a passionate and dedicated SLP-A originally from Waco, Texas, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Tarleton State University. After graduating, Emily moved to the Houston area with her fiancé and 2 pups. Currently, Emily is working toward earning her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Texas Woman's University, furthering her commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Emily finds this field so rewarding because she gets the opportunity to help individuals overcome communication challenges, empowering them to express themselves effectively and confidently. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending quality time with friends and family (and her 2 crazy dogs!).
